These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of eCommerceThesis.com (the "Site") and any services provided by eCommerce Thesis, including AI Search Visibility audits, implementation, and management services (the "Services"). By using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

eCommerce Thesis is operated by Foysal Ahmed, based in Habiganj, Sylhet, Bangladesh. You can reach us at ecommercethesis@gmail.com or via the contact forms on this Site.

2. Our Services

We provide AI Search Visibility (GEO/AEO) audits, implementation, and ongoing management for Shopify and other ecommerce stores, along with free educational content, tutorials, and tool recommendations published on our blog.

Important: We do not guarantee specific rankings, citations, or inclusion in any AI platform's responses (including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or Google AI Overviews). No agency or individual can guarantee this, since these platforms do not publish their ranking or citation criteria and change frequently without notice. Our Services focus on implementing known best practices and structural improvements — not promised outcomes.

3. Free Audits

Free AI Visibility Audits are provided at our discretion and represent our assessment at a single point in time. They are not a guarantee of future performance and may be updated or superseded by paid engagements.

4. Payment & Engagements

Paid Services (one-time audits, implementation projects, or monthly management retainers) are billed according to the pricing and terms agreed at the time of engagement, communicated directly via email, WhatsApp, or a signed proposal. Prices listed on this Site are starting estimates and may vary based on project scope.

Monthly retainer services renew automatically unless cancelled with reasonable notice, as agreed at the start of the engagement.

5. Client Responsibilities

To deliver our Services effectively, we may require access to your store's admin panel, theme code, or third-party accounts (e.g., Google Search Console). You are responsible for granting appropriate access and for the accuracy of any information you provide us.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including blog posts, guides, graphics, and the AI Visibility Audit methodology — is owned by eCommerce Thesis unless otherwise noted, and may not be reproduced without permission. Any custom code, content, or deliverables created specifically for a paying client become that client's property upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Third-Party Links & Affiliate Disclosure

This Site contains links to third-party tools and services, some of which are affiliate links — we may earn a commission if you make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we've used or reviewed, but we are not responsible for the products, services, or practices of third parties we link to.

8. Advertising

This Site displays advertising via Google AdSense on blog and article pages. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can review Google's advertising policies directly at their official documentation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, eCommerce Thesis and Foysal Ahmed are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or our Services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, traffic, or search/AI visibility. Our total liability for any paid engagement is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific engagement.

10. No Professional Advice

Content on this Site (including blog posts and free resources) is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or technical advice specific to your business. You should evaluate any recommendations against your own circumstances before implementing them.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith discussion in the first instance.
