How to Remove ‘Powered by Shopify’ from your store

There are more than 800,000 stores powered by Shopify.

In this tutorial, I will share how to remove Powered by Shopify from your online store or eCommerce Website base on Shopify.

SO this tutorial will be helpful if you like to make your website more professional and brandable.

If you’d like to remove the “Powered by Shopify” reference in the footer in our themes, you’ll need to make a minor code edit as described below:

  • From your Shopify dashboard, click Online Store > Themes and look for your theme name
  • Click the Actions button and choose Edit Code from the drop-down menu
  • Go to the Sections folder and open footer.liquid
  • Search for {{ powered_by_link }} and remove it
  • Click the Save button to save your changes
